The Florence M. Gaudineer Middle School Interscholastic Athletic Program addresses the physical, social, and emotional needs of early adolescence. The FMG Athletic Program provides our students with opportunities to participate in athletics, expanded in recognition of the physical, mental and social changes that they will experience. While competition is a key component to the middle school athletic experience, it is not the only attribute.  The FMG Athletic Program is performance based.  It is a competitive interscholastic program where placement on the active roster and playing time for games is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the coach.

Currently, Florence M. Gaudineer Middle School offers Soccer for boys and girls in the Fall, Basketball for boys and girls in the Winter, and Baseball for boys and Softball for girls in the Spring for sixth, seventh and eighth grade students.
 

Open Registration Dates (RSchoolToday must be completed for every sports season.  Incomplete registrations or submitting of RSchoolToday and medical forms after the dates provided may result in a delay of student participation in FMG Athletics.)

Reminders for participation in FMG Athletics from the FMG School Nurse

  1. Completion of RSchoolToday
  2. Hard Copy of the NJ Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Form and NJ DOE Health History Update Form submitted to the Health Office
  3. Impact Test Administration, Head Injury Education Completed
  4. Vision completed by your physician on the Physical Evaluation Form
